Lebensmittelsicherheit ist ein Einsatzgebiet f\u00fcr die L\u00f6sungen zur molekularen Analyse

Der Forschungs- und Entwicklungsdienstleister Hahn-Schickard arbeitet in enger Kooperation mit dem Institut f\u00fcr Mikrosystemtechnik der Albert-Ludwigs-Universit\u00e4t Freiburg bereits seit vielen Jahren an schnellen diagnostischen Verfahren, um etwa kleinste Mengen an infekti\u00f6sen Erregern vor Ort mit mobilen Ger\u00e4ten nachweisen zu k\u00f6nnen. Ziel des neuen Joint Ventures ist es nun, diese Technologie von der medizinischen Diagnostik auf die industrielle Prozess- und Laborautomatisierung zu \u00fcbertragen, wie die beiden Unternehmen schreiben.<\/p>\n

Innovatives Cluster<\/h3>\n

In den ersten Monaten kommt Endress+Hauser BioSense noch in R\u00e4umen der Universit\u00e4t sowie bei Hahn-Schickard unter. Im n\u00e4chsten Jahr werde das Unternehmen dann in das derzeit im Bau befindliche Freiburger Innovationszentrum FRIZ auf dem Campus der Technischen Fakult\u00e4t umziehen. Das Start-up erweitere damit den Freiburger Standort von Endress+Hauser, an dem bereits heute an neuen Sensortechnologien, Biosensoren sowie L\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr die Industrie 4.0 gearbeitet werde.<\/p>\n

Bei der Entwicklung von Ger\u00e4ten und Verfahren f\u00fcr molekulare Analysen in Prozess und Labor werde das neu gegr\u00fcndete Unternehmen eng mit der IST Innuscreen GmbH in Berlin zusammenarbeiten, die ebenfalls Teil der Endress+Hauser Gruppe sei. IST Innuscreen biete ein breites Portfolio f\u00fcr die Nukleins\u00e4ure-Isolierung und Molekulardiagnostik und liefere unter anderem Kits und Assays f\u00fcr die PCR-Diagnostik.<\/p>\n

Erfahrenes F\u00fchrungsteam<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gem\u00e4ss Angaben h\u00e4lt Endress+Hauser 75 Prozent der Anteile am neuen Joint Venture, Hahn-Schickard 25 Prozent. Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer des neuen Unternehmens sei Dr. Nicholas Krohn, der bestens vertraut sei mit dem Gebiet der Lebensmittelanalytik. Das Gr\u00fcndungsteam wird erg\u00e4nzt durch Stefan Burger und Martin Schulz, zwei langj\u00e4hrige Hahn-Schickard-Mitarbeiter, die auf dem Gebiet der molekularen Diagnostik an der Technischen Fakult\u00e4t der Universit\u00e4t Freiburg promoviert haben, wie es abschliessend heisst.<\/p>\n
