Die Sicherstellung der Qualit\u00e4t in der medizinischen Versorgung geh\u00f6rt deshalb zu den Kernaufgaben der \u00c4rzteschaft, so auch bei chirurgischen Behandlungen. Da trotz bestausgebildetem und eingespieltem Operations-Team, sorgf\u00e4ltiger Vorbereitung und optimalem perioperativem Ablauf unerw\u00fcnschte Ereignisse wie Eingriffsverwechslungen oder Infektionen im Operationssaal m\u00f6glich sind, hat die Stiftung Patientensicherheit Schweiz in einem Pilotprojekt gemeinsam mit der Schweizerischen Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Chirurgie sowie zehn Schweizer Spit\u00e4lern als Kernst\u00fcck eine Checkliste entwickelt.<\/p>\n<p>Diese orientiert sich an der chirurgischen WHO-Checkliste und wurde speziell f\u00fcr die Schweiz adaptiert. Die Checkliste bezweckt, Fehler zu vermeiden oder rechtzeitig aufzufangen, um die Patientensicherheit zu erh\u00f6hen. Zahlreiche Spit\u00e4ler setzen sie in ihrer t\u00e4glichen Arbeit bereits ein. Damit die Checkliste m\u00f6glichst zur Norm f\u00fcr alle chirurgisch t\u00e4tigen Schweizer Kliniken wird, haben sich die FMH, medizinische Fachgesellschaften und weitere Gesundheitsorganisationen f\u00fcr die Charta \u00abErkl\u00e4rung Sichere Chirurgie\u00bb ausgesprochen. Die FMH empfiehlt den betroffenen \u00c4rzteorganisationen die Checkliste anzuwenden und ebenso alle beteiligten Berufsgruppen einzubeziehen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Die FMH<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die FMH, die medizinische Fachgesellschaft (Swiss Medical Association), engagiert sich seit langem f\u00fcr die Patientensicherheit und leistet mit der Schweizerischen Akademie f\u00fcr Qualit\u00e4t in der Medizin SAQM einen Beitrag f\u00fcr die \u00e4rztliche Qualit\u00e4tsarbeit. Zudem hat die FMH als eines der Gr\u00fcndungsmitglieder die Stiftung Patientensicherheit Schweiz von Anfang an unterst\u00fctzt und gef\u00f6rdert.
