pom+ coordinates Zurich Police and Justice Center PJZ
pom+Consulting AG, a Swiss consulting firm active in real estate, infrastructures and organizations, was commissioned by the Canton of Zurich to support the preparation of the future operation of the Police and Justice Center Zurich PJZ.
pom+ was entrusted with the task of assuming the key function of overall project management for operations on an interim basis from the start of construction. The PJZ, whose foundation stone was laid today, will be occupied in stages in 2021 and will bring together the cantonal police, previously spread over more than 30 locations, with the law enforcement agencies and the police and judicial prison.
Security and ICT
pom+ is commissioned to support the preparation of the future operation of the PJZ and in particular to clearly and comprehensively define the interfaces between the areas of security, ICT, services and facility management.
Under the keyword "Digital Real Estate", the advantages resulting from the increasing digitalization of the construction industry are to be exploited. Stefan Schneider, project manager pom+ explains: "The future operation of this ambitious project must be prepared in detail from the start of construction using appropriate methods and tools across all specialist areas. This will ensure that effective and safe operation is possible immediately after occupation of the PJZ.
Information and communication technologies have played an important role from the outset. HRS Real Estate AG has been selected as the general contractor for the Police and Justice Center in Zurich. The investment volume for the new building is a good CHF 387.8 million.
