Swiss companies at the 14th International Business Awards

No fewer than five Swiss companies are represented at the 14th International Business Awards. Stevie Awards announces the winners of the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevies in mid-August 2017. The high-ranking winners of the all-encompassing business awards include solution-oriented Swiss companies.

At the 14th International Business Awards, five companies from Switzerland prevailed in the international benchmarking. They won a total of nine Stevie Awards: Three Gold Stevie Awards, five Silver Stevie Awards and one Bronze Stevie Award. These awards are proof of the outstanding performance of Swiss companies.

All companies worldwide are eligible to enter the International Business Awards each year. Both organizations and individuals are eligible to enter the international competition and submit entries in a wide variety of categories, including Management, Company of the Year, Marketing, Public Relations, Customer Service, Human Resources, New Products, Information Technology, Websites and many others.

Swiss companies

A number of Swiss companies entered the 14th International Business Awards in several categories and won. Three companies each won a Gold and a Silver Stevie Award. The software company Arconis from Schaffhausen won a Gold and a Silver Stevie Award in the categories "Best New Product or Service of the Year - Software - Cloud Storage & Backup Solution" (Gold) and "Best New Product or Service of the Year - Consumer Products" (Silver).

The financial services provider My Sky from Lausanne also won a Gold and a Silver Stevie Award in the categories "Startup of the Year - Business Services Industries" (Gold) and "Tech Startup of the Year- Services" (Silver).

The third company with one Gold and one Silver win each is Yerra Solutions from Basel. Yerra Solutions AG provides legal services to its clients and is awarded a Gold Stevie in the category "Company of the Year - Legal - Medium-size" at the 14th International Business Awards. Founder and CEO Rajitha Boer is honoured with a Silver Stevie in the Women of the Year category.

Muttenz-based DHL Express wins a Silver and a Bronze Stevie Award in the categories "Innovation of the Year - Consumer Services Industries" (Silver) and "Customer Service Team of the Year" (Bronze).

The software company Sherpany from Zurich also received a Silver Stevie Award in the category "Mobile Site & App".

The winners of the International Business Awards were selected from more than 3,900 applications from companies in over 60 nations. More than 200 executives worldwide participated in the judging process this year to determine the Stevie winners.
