This time in focus: circular economy. \u00a9 SAQ<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\"When, at the beginning of May. Swiss Quality Day<\/a> takes place, then the so-called 'Overshoot Day<\/a>The 'energy gap' is within our grasp. On this day, the Swiss population has consumed more natural resources than it is entitled to for the whole year. Hence the criticism: \"If everyone lived as we do, we would need the raw materials of three planets,\" writes President Guy Parmelin in his welcoming address at the traditional SAQ event.<\/p>\n

Producers must rethink<\/strong><\/p>\n

And the President of the Confederation goes on to conclude: \"A rethink is needed today. Both consumers and producers must reduce their demand for materials, natural resources and products. Specifically, we need a more sustainable economic system. But recycling alone is not enough!\" That's why, for President Parmelin, the answer is the circular economy. The basic idea behind it: As far as possible, no resources should be lost (cf. also here<\/a>). The clever entrepreneur secures his source of raw materials.<\/p>\n

What can interested parties expect?<\/strong><\/p>\n

On this year's \"Swiss Quality Day\" of the SAQ<\/a> interested parties learn how circular economy can be implemented and become part of the business model and company processes. How can the needs of customers, the available technologies and the ecological impact be aligned? At the traditional SAQ Day, successful companies show what new perspectives this concept opens up.<\/p>\n
