The continuous evaluation and optimization of processes and workflows is one of the most important tasks within a company. Wilhelm Heckmann, Managing Director at CNT Management Consulting AG in Zurich, sees potential for improvement above all in the purchasing departments of companies: \"In the past, many projects were implemented with the aim of optimizing sales or production. Purchasing often came up a bit short in the process.\" Many companies would still handle purchasing processes very traditionally. Due to the strong trend towards digitalization and sustainability, companies are concerned about automating these outdated and manual processes or handling them securely according to their guidelines.<\/p>\n

relief of resources<\/strong><\/h3>\n

An important field of activity of the SAP consulting company CNT is the support of companies in the digitalization and optimization of purchasing processes. This includes, among other things, the management of suppliers, but also the processing of invoices, operational procurement and contract management. \"Due to our years of expertise in purchasing best practices, we have broad-based expertise in ready-made solutions and project plans,\" Heckmann explains. This, he says, can help companies understand how others operate and what is the best way forward for their individual requirements. The goal of these process optimizations, he says, is to reduce effort as well as to handle managed processes, thus freeing up resources. As a result, the said resources can either be saved or used for more value-adding activities.<\/p>\n

Pinnacle Award received<\/strong><\/h3>\n

CNT maintains a particularly close collaboration with SAP. The fact that the cooperation is based on mutual appreciation was recently demonstrated by CNT Management Consulting AG receiving the SAP Pinnacle Award in the category \"Intelligent Spend Management\".
