Corruption almost always takes place in secret and is often difficult to detect, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with limited resources. In addition, the numerous export-oriented Swiss SMEs are quickly confronted with corruption abroad. Transparency Switzerland has therefore developed a guide specifically for Swiss SMEs to help them identify their corruption risks and effectively counter them with appropriate measures - and to do so quickly, cost-effectively and sustainably, as the non-governmental organisation writes.<\/p>\n

Self-evaluation checklist<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The\u00a0SME guide to corruption prevention<\/a>\u00a0is made possible by a\u00a0Self-evaluation checklist<\/a>ion<\/a> which enables an initial rapid assessment of the areas in which the SME is exposed to corruption risks and where the greatest need for action exists. In addition to this, Transparency Switzerland has published the topic-specific guides Dealing with whistleblowing<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Gifts & Invitations<\/a>\u00a0elaborated.<\/p>\n
