Ruag Defence is more mobile than ever. The increased mobility of employees, modern office infrastructures and collaborative working methods promote flexible and efficient working.<\/p>\n

Skyguide launched its Dynamic Working Environment (DWE) programme in 2014 to promote dynamic teamwork and networked communication. The programme also included targeted space management and contemporary workplace design. This freed up workspace, which skyguide is now leasing to the technology company RUAG Defence. The company and its 150 employees will move into the buildings on Flugsicherungsstrasse in Wangen near D\u00fcbendorf from 1 April 2020.<\/p>\n

Skyguide link<\/strong><\/p>\n

Skyguide provides air navigation services in Switzerland and neighbouring countries with 1,500 employees at 14 locations. Skyguide safely and efficiently guides some 1.2 million civil and military aircraft through Europe's busiest airspace. Skyguide is well networked internationally and contributes to Switzerland's attractiveness as a business location with innovative and customer-oriented solutions. Headquartered in Geneva, the company is majority-owned by the Swiss Confederation.<\/p>\n

\"We are looking forward to the new tenants and to the more intensive collaboration between RUAG Defence and skyguide,\" underlines Alex Bristol, CEO of skyguide.<\/p>\n

RUAG Defence, which was previously based at the D\u00fcbendorf airfield site, has been forced to reorganise its premises following the establishment of the Innovation Park at the airfield site. With skyguide, the company can now accommodate all its employees at the D\u00fcbendorf site in the same building. The collaboration between RUAG Defence and skyguide also benefits from the move.<\/p>\n

\"Particularly in the area of Communications, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS), we can draw on RUAG's specific capabilities, especially for technical components such as transmissions,\" says a delighted G\u00f6tz Ardey, Head of CNS Services.<\/p>\n

Skyguide's Air Navigation Service Center at Wangen near D\u00fcbendorf, which came into operation in 2009, houses management and administration, Zurich approach and departure control, overflight control, Aeronautical Information Management (AIM) Services Switzerland, the skyguide Training Center and the Air Defense and Direction Center (ADDC) with a total of over 700 employees. The Center operates around the clock.<\/p>\n
