On the last day of the exhibition, high-ranking representatives from politics and the chemical industry in the Upper Rhine region came to see ILMAC for themselves.<\/p>\n<p>The 20th ILMAC, held from 20 to 23 September 2016 at Messe Basel, displayed a broad horizon of specialist knowledge. The topic of \"Industry 4.0\" in process and laboratory technology is becoming increasingly important, and the experts at ILMAC were particularly interested in this specialist area. How is the industry meeting the current challenges of automation, digitalization and technical dynamics?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Current market mirror<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the first time, exhibitors in the areas of process and laboratory technology were placed in mixed groups. ILMAC thus reflects the trend for technological applications in the market to move closer together and for processes to be planned holistically.
