Image : depositphotos_davincidig<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Tata Consultancy Services, l'un des principaux fournisseurs de services informatiques, de conseil et de solutions commerciales au niveau mondial, a r\u00e9cemment publi\u00e9 une \u00e9tude intitul\u00e9e \"Getting Smarter by the Day : How AI is Elevating the Performance of Global Companies\". L'\u00e9tude a interrog\u00e9 835 cadres d'entreprises ayant un chiffre d'affaires annuel moyen de 20 milliards de dollars dans un ensemble de secteurs d'activit\u00e9 dans 13 pays, dont la Suisse, sur l'impact actuel et futur de l'IA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L'IA dans les services informatiques <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Selon les dirigeants interrog\u00e9s, l'IA a un impact sur presque tous les domaines de l'entreprise. Il n'est pas surprenant que les d\u00e9partements informatiques soient aujourd'hui les principaux utilisateurs de l'IA, plus des deux tiers (68 %) des personnes interrog\u00e9es utilisant cette technologie pour d\u00e9tecter les vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes des utilisateurs ou automatiser les processus de routine. Cependant, 70 % des personnes interrog\u00e9es s'attendent \u00e0 ce que l'AI ait le plus grand impact en dehors du d\u00e9partement informatique d'ici 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L'IA au service de la client\u00e8le <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pr\u00e8s d'un tiers (32 %) des personnes interrog\u00e9es estiment que l'impact de l'IA en 2020 sera le plus important dans les domaines de la vente, du marketing et du service \u00e0 la client\u00e8le. Un r\u00e9pondant sur cinq (20 %) estime que l'impact est le plus important dans les secteurs de l'entreprise qui n'ont pas de contact avec la client\u00e8le. Il s'agit notamment de la planification strat\u00e9gique, du d\u00e9veloppement des entreprises, des finances et des ressources humaines.<\/p>\n<p>Les repr\u00e9sentants du service client\u00e8le peuvent r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes plus rapidement et anticiper les futurs achats, les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s de services financiers peuvent rapidement et en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 rapprocher les transactions de masse du jour au lendemain, et le personnel des ressources humaines n'a pas \u00e0 se soucier du long processus d'int\u00e9gration des nouveaux employ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Automatisations \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les participants \u00e0 l'enqu\u00eate estiment que le r\u00e9sultat final est qu'entre quatre et sept pour cent des emplois seront supprim\u00e9s d'ici 2020, selon le secteur d'activit\u00e9. Cependant, les entreprises qui tirent le plus grand profit financier de l'IA s'attendent \u00e0 cr\u00e9er trois fois plus de nouveaux emplois d'ici 2020 que les entreprises qui ont le moins am\u00e9lior\u00e9 leurs revenus ou leurs co\u00fbts gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'IA.<\/p>\n<p>L'intelligence artificielle est d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9e pour automatiser certains processus et accro\u00eetre l'efficacit\u00e9, ce qui aide les employ\u00e9s \u00e0 \u00eatre plus productifs et lib\u00e8re plus de temps pour les t\u00e2ches strat\u00e9giques. En outre, l'IA cr\u00e9e de nouvelles activit\u00e9s et de nouveaux services qui n'\u00e9taient pas possibles auparavant.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les investissements et les revenus li\u00e9s \u00e0 l'IA sont en hausse - en particulier en Am\u00e9rique du Nord et en Europe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Plus l'IA devient une technologie courante, plus l'investissement est important. Environ sept pour cent des entreprises interrog\u00e9es ont affect\u00e9 au moins 250 millions de dollars US \u00e0 l'IA en 2016, deux pour cent souhaitent m\u00eame d\u00e9penser un milliard de dollars US d'ici 2020 - et b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d'un \u00e9ventuel avantage concurrentiel en tant qu'adopteurs pr\u00e9coces. C'est parce que l'\u00e9tude sur les tendances du SDC montre une corr\u00e9lation claire entre les investissements et les avantages commerciaux. Les entreprises qui ont le plus augment\u00e9 leurs revenus et r\u00e9duit leurs co\u00fbts gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'IA ont investi cinq fois plus dans cette technologie que les entreprises qui l'ont moins am\u00e9lior\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'IA.<\/p>\n<p>Les principales entreprises ont augment\u00e9 leurs revenus de 16 % en moyenne en 2015 par rapport \u00e0 l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente gr\u00e2ce aux initiatives d'IA. Les Laggards, en revanche, n'ont vu leurs revenus augmenter que de cinq pour cent. Ce sont les entreprises nord-am\u00e9ricaines qui ont le plus investi dans l'IA, avec une moyenne de 80 millions de dollars.
