Des techniques de cryptage sophistiqu\u00e9es veillent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement \u00e0 ce que de tels contenus ne puissent pas \u00eatre intercept\u00e9s et lus. Mais ce sont surtout les ordinateurs quantiques performants qui pourraient \u00e0 l'avenir casser les cl\u00e9s, parfois en quelques secondes.<\/p>\n<h3>M\u00e9thode datant des ann\u00e9es 1990<\/h3>\n<p>L'\u00e9change de cl\u00e9s par la m\u00e9canique quantique - appel\u00e9 \"distribution de cl\u00e9s quantiques\" (QKD) dans le jargon technique - est prot\u00e9g\u00e9 contre les attaques sur les lignes de connexion. Le QKD est donc \u00e9galement immunis\u00e9 contre les ordinateurs quantiques, mais pas contre les attaques ou les manipulations des appareils eux-m\u00eames. Les appareils pourraient \u00e9mettre une cl\u00e9 que le fabricant aurait d\u00e9j\u00e0 enregistr\u00e9e auparavant et \u00e9ventuellement transmise \u00e0 un pirate. Le \"Device independent QKD\", en abr\u00e9g\u00e9 DIQKD, v\u00e9rifie d\u00e9sormais \u00e9galement la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des appareils. Th\u00e9oriquement, cette m\u00e9thode est connue depuis les ann\u00e9es 1990, mais un groupe international de chercheurs autour du physicien de la LMU Harald Weinfurter (<a href=\"https:\/\/xqp.physik.uni-muenchen.de\/people\/professor\/weinfurter\/index.html\">https:\/\/xqp.physik.uni-muenchen.de\/people\/professor\/weinfurter\/index.html<\/a>) et Charles Lim, de l'Universit\u00e9 nationale de Singapour (NUS), l'ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois de mani\u00e8re exp\u00e9rimentale.<\/p>\n<h3>Mesurer les \u00e9tats quantiques des atomes<\/h3>\n<p>Dans la pr\u00e9sente exp\u00e9rience, les physiciens ont utilis\u00e9 pour l'\u00e9change de cl\u00e9s deux atomes de rubidium entrelac\u00e9s, situ\u00e9s dans deux laboratoires distants de 400 m\u00e8tres sur le campus de la LMU. Les deux sites sont reli\u00e9s par un c\u00e2ble en fibre optique de 700 m\u00e8tres de long qui passe sous la place devant le b\u00e2timent principal de l'universit\u00e9. Pour \u00e9changer une cl\u00e9, les deux parties mesurent les \u00e9tats quantiques de leurs atomes. Cela se fait de mani\u00e8re al\u00e9atoire dans deux ou quatre directions. Si les directions co\u00efncident, les r\u00e9sultats des mesures sont identiques en raison de l'intrication et peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer une cl\u00e9 secr\u00e8te.<\/p>\n<h3>Des connexions \u00e0 l'abri des \u00e9coutes gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la cryptographie quantique<\/h3>\n<p>Les autres r\u00e9sultats de mesure permettent d'\u00e9valuer ce que l'on appelle l'in\u00e9galit\u00e9 de Bell. John Bell a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 cette in\u00e9galit\u00e9 pour tester si la nature peut \u00eatre d\u00e9crite avec des variables cach\u00e9es. Le DIQKD utilise maintenant ce test pour s'assurer qu'il n'y a \"pas de manipulation des appareils, c'est-\u00e0-dire que des r\u00e9sultats de mesure cach\u00e9s n'ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s au pr\u00e9alable dans les appareils\", explique Weinfurter. Le protocole NUS utilise d\u00e9sormais deux r\u00e9glages de mesure. \"Cela rend l'interception d'informations beaucoup plus difficile. Il est ainsi possible de tol\u00e9rer davantage de bruit et de g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des cl\u00e9s secr\u00e8tes m\u00eame lorsque le bruit est plus \u00e9lev\u00e9\", explique Charles Lim.<\/p>\n<p>\"Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 notre m\u00e9thode, nous pouvons d\u00e9sormais g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des cl\u00e9s secr\u00e8tes en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9, m\u00eame avec des appareils non caract\u00e9ris\u00e9s et potentiellement non fiables\", explique Weinfurter. \"Notre travail pose les bases des futurs r\u00e9seaux quantiques, dans lesquels une communication absolument s\u00fbre sera possible entre des lieux \u00e9loign\u00e9s\", conclut Charles Lim.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Im Internet wimmelt es nur so von hochsensiblen Informationen.
