Dans de nombreux secteurs, du commerce \u00e9lectronique \u00e0 la production automobile, les entrep\u00f4ts avec des centaines de robots font de plus en plus souvent partie de la cha\u00eene d'approvisionnement. Probl\u00e8me : lorsque 800 robots se d\u00e9placent en m\u00eame temps pour acheminer efficacement les marchandises vers leur destination, le risque de collisions augmente. M\u00eame les meilleurs algorithmes de routage ont du mal \u00e0 suivre le rythme rapide du commerce \u00e9lectronique ou de la production. D'une certaine mani\u00e8re, les robots sont comme des voitures qui doivent trouver leur chemin dans un centre-ville bond\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h3>Planification intelligente du trafic dans un entrep\u00f4t de robots<\/h3>\n<p>Un groupe de chercheurs du MIT utilise d\u00e9j\u00e0 l'IA pour d\u00e9samorcer les embouteillages. Ils ont repris des id\u00e9es de ce domaine pour s'attaquer au probl\u00e8me de la circulation des robots dans les entrep\u00f4ts. \u00c0 cette fin, ils ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un mod\u00e8le d'apprentissage en profondeur qui encode des informations importantes sur l'entrep\u00f4t. Il s'agit notamment d'informations sur les robots, les trajectoires pr\u00e9vues, les t\u00e2ches et les obstacles. Ce mod\u00e8le permet de pr\u00e9dire les zones de l'entrep\u00f4t qu'il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de d\u00e9lester afin d'am\u00e9liorer l'efficacit\u00e9 globale. La technique divise les robots de l'entrep\u00f4t en groupes afin de les d\u00e9charger plus rapidement \u00e0 l'aide d'algorithmes traditionnels de coordination des robots. Les robots peuvent ainsi \u00eatre d\u00e9charg\u00e9s presque quatre fois plus vite qu'en utilisant une m\u00e9thode de recherche al\u00e9atoire forte. Concr\u00e8tement, la nouvelle architecture de r\u00e9seau neuronal prend en compte des groupes de robots plus petits en m\u00eame temps. Dans un entrep\u00f4t de 800 robots, le r\u00e9seau pourrait par exemple diviser l'entrep\u00f4t en petits groupes de 40 robots chacun. Il pr\u00e9dit ensuite quel groupe a le plus grand potentiel d'am\u00e9lioration de la solution globale lorsqu'un solveur bas\u00e9 sur la recherche est utilis\u00e9 pour coordonner le chemin \u00e0 parcourir par les robots de ce groupe. M\u00eame si un robot est initialement \u00e9loign\u00e9 d'un autre, leurs chemins peuvent tout de m\u00eame se croiser lors de leur d\u00e9placement dans l'entrep\u00f4t du robot. La technologie rationalise \u00e9galement le calcul, car les contraintes ne doivent \u00eatre cod\u00e9es qu'une seule fois, au lieu de r\u00e9p\u00e9ter le processus pour chaque sous-probl\u00e8me. Dans un entrep\u00f4t de 800 robots, 40 robots peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9charg\u00e9s en d\u00e9finissant les 760 autres comme contraintes. D'autres approches exigent que les 800 robots soient pris en compte dans chaque it\u00e9ration par groupe. Au lieu de cela, les 800 robots ne doivent \u00eatre pris en compte qu'une seule fois \u00e0 chaque it\u00e9ration, tous groupes confondus.
