(Image : Fraunhofer IOF)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Des chercheurs de l'Institut Fraunhofer d'optique appliqu\u00e9e et de m\u00e9canique de pr\u00e9cision IOF ont mis au point une nouvelle technologie qui permet aux robots de d\u00e9tecter des objets transparents ou noirs en moins de deux secondes. Le syst\u00e8me, appel\u00e9 goROBOT3D, utilise une technologie de thermographie 3D am\u00e9lior\u00e9e qui permet de mesurer efficacement des surfaces difficiles \u00e0 d\u00e9tecter comme le verre, le plastique et le m\u00e9tal. Auparavant, le processus n\u00e9cessitait jusqu'\u00e0 15 secondes, mais gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une nouvelle technique de projection et \u00e0 l'introduction de la technologie single shot, il peut d\u00e9sormais \u00eatre effectu\u00e9 en moins d'une seconde et demie.<\/p>\n<h3>Reconnaissance 3D avec une nouvelle m\u00e9thode<\/h3>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me goROBOT3D utilise une m\u00e9thode nouvellement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e qui consiste \u00e0 chauffer la surface de la sc\u00e8ne de mesure avec un motif de points thermiques structur\u00e9. Deux cam\u00e9ras thermiques enregistrent ce motif et calculent les donn\u00e9es 3D \u00e0 l'aide d'une corr\u00e9lation spatiale crois\u00e9e. Au lieu de la m\u00e9thode pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, qui n\u00e9cessitait l'acquisition de plusieurs paires d'images, une seule paire d'images suffit d\u00e9sormais pour reconstruire les donn\u00e9es 3D en quelques millisecondes.<\/p>\n<p>Les donn\u00e9es 3D obtenues sont analys\u00e9es par l'intelligence artificielle afin de d\u00e9terminer les points et directions de pr\u00e9hension appropri\u00e9s. Ces informations sont transmises \u00e0 un bras robotique qui saisit l'objet \u00e0 l'aide d'une pince \u00e0 vide. Ce processus, connu sous le nom de \"bin picking\", permet aux robots de saisir des objets dans des environnements chaotiques.<\/p>\n<h3>Int\u00e9gration flexible<\/h3>\n<p>La nouvelle technologie offre des avantages significatifs pour les processus de production automatis\u00e9s, car elle r\u00e9duit drastiquement les temps de cycle et permet ainsi une production sans faille et sans interruption.
