(Image : Roy Buri \/ Pixabay.com)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>L'Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de topographie (Swisstopo), l'Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de la m\u00e9t\u00e9orologie et du climat (M\u00e9t\u00e9oSuisse) et l'Office f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de l'\u00e9nergie (OFEN) ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 l'application suivante <a href=\"https:\/\/swissolar.us17.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=edecd98bac689d51acd3647d0&amp;id=58cf047c8e&amp;e=a7500464fb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sunroof.ch<\/a> un cadastre du potentiel solaire pour toute la Suisse. Sur la base de ce cadastre, l'OFEN a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 une estimation pr\u00e9cise du potentiel des toits et des fa\u00e7ades. La Suisse est probablement l'un des premiers pays dans lesquels une analyse du potentiel bas\u00e9e sur un cadastre solaire est possible. Le potentiel sur les toits avec une production annuelle d'environ 50 milliards de kilowattheures (50 t\u00e9rawattheures, TWh) a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9termin\u00e9 en septembre dernier.<\/p>\n<h2>Des fa\u00e7ades qui ont beaucoup de potentiel<\/h2>\n<p>Le 15 avril, l'OFEN a publi\u00e9 le <a href=\"https:\/\/swissolar.us17.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=edecd98bac689d51acd3647d0&amp;id=ad456c3db0&amp;e=a7500464fb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Potentiel sur les fa\u00e7ades<\/a> pr\u00e9sent\u00e9. Elle est de 17 TWh par an. Dans les deux cas, il s'agit du potentiel \"exploitable\", qui est nettement inf\u00e9rieur au potentiel technique. Seules les grandes zones contigu\u00ebs o\u00f9 l'irradiation est raisonnablement utilisable sont prises en compte. Le potentiel de fa\u00e7ade nouvellement d\u00e9termin\u00e9 est particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressant, car on peut s'attendre \u00e0 des rendements hivernaux comparativement \u00e9lev\u00e9s sur ces surfaces en raison de leur orientation verticale. Leur utilisation suscite \u00e9galement un int\u00e9r\u00eat croissant chez les architectes, car la vari\u00e9t\u00e9 des modules photovolta\u00efques disponibles augmente rapidement en termes de couleurs, de textures et de tailles.<\/p>\n<p>Swissolar a \u00e9galement calcul\u00e9 le potentiel suppl\u00e9mentaire sur les toits des parkings, les surfaces des routes et dans la r\u00e9gion alpine. Pour ces derniers, seules les zones qui ne sont pas prot\u00e9g\u00e9es d'une quelconque mani\u00e8re et qui disposent d\u00e9j\u00e0 d'infrastructures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 prises en compte. Il s'agit par exemple des stations de ski. R\u00e9sultat : m\u00eame avec un calcul tr\u00e8s prudent, on ajoute 15 t\u00e9rawatts-heures de production annuelle suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p>\n<h2>L'expansion du photovolta\u00efque doit \u00eatre multipli\u00e9e par cinq<\/h2>\n<p>Au total, au moins 82 t\u00e9rawattheures d'\u00e9nergie solaire peuvent \u00eatre produits en Suisse chaque ann\u00e9e. En combinaison avec l'hydro\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 existante (35 t\u00e9rawattheures par an) et d'autres \u00e9nergies renouvelables (notamment l'\u00e9olien), il est donc possible d'assurer un approvisionnement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique \u00e0 100% de la Suisse d'ici 2050, y compris le remplacement du nucl\u00e9aire et des \u00e9nergies fossiles (mobilit\u00e9, chauffage).<\/p>\n<p>Afin de r\u00e9aliser cette transition conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 l'accord de Paris sur le climat d'ici 2050, il faut multiplier par cinq la quantit\u00e9 de photovolta\u00efque ajout\u00e9e chaque ann\u00e9e, pour la faire passer de 300 m\u00e9gawatts aujourd'hui \u00e0 1500 m\u00e9gawatts. Les calculs sont en bon accord avec une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e le 11.4.19. <a href=\"https:\/\/swissolar.us17.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=edecd98bac689d51acd3647d0&amp;id=dcb01bef13&amp;e=a7500464fb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00c9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e par Energy Watch Group et l'universit\u00e9 finlandaise LUT.<\/a> Selon cette \u00e9tude, il est possible de parvenir \u00e0 un approvisionnement mondial complet en \u00e9nergie renouvelable d'ici 2050, et ce de mani\u00e8re plus rentable que le syst\u00e8me \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique actuel.
