C'est beaucoup plus complexe que nos pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents travaux sur l'\u00e9lectronique volatile\", explique M. Montazami. Une fois que cette batterie est jet\u00e9e dans l'eau, son bo\u00eetier en polym\u00e8re gonfle jusqu'\u00e0 ce que les \u00e9lectrodes se brisent. Maintenant, la batterie se dissout. Elle ne dispara\u00eet pas compl\u00e8tement dans l'eau\", souligne le chercheur - mais seules les nanoparticules d'une batterie de haute technologie resteraient dans l'eau.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Implants volatiles<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L'\u00e9lectronique volatile, qui dispara\u00eet compl\u00e8tement ou en grande partie sans r\u00e9sidus dans certaines conditions, n'est pas seulement int\u00e9ressante pour garder des secrets militaires. Les applications dans le domaine de la surveillance de l'environnement ou de la m\u00e9decine pourraient \u00e9galement \u00eatre d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es. Ici, l'universit\u00e9 d'\u00c9tat de l'Iowa fait sp\u00e9cifiquement r\u00e9f\u00e9rence aux implants qui peuvent normalement \u00eatre retir\u00e9s apr\u00e8s un certain temps.
