(Immagine: Fraunhofer IOF)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I ricercatori dell'Istituto Fraunhofer per l'Ottica Applicata e l'Ingegneria di Precisione IOF hanno sviluppato una nuova tecnologia che consente ai robot di riconoscere gli oggetti trasparenti o neri in meno di due secondi. Il sistema, chiamato goROBOT3D, utilizza una tecnologia di termografia 3D migliorata che consente di misurare in modo efficiente anche le superfici difficili da riconoscere, come vetro, plastica e metallo. Il processo richiedeva fino a 15 secondi, ma grazie a una nuova tecnica di proiezione e all'introduzione della tecnologia a scatto singolo, ora pu\u00f2 essere completato in meno di 1,5 secondi.<\/p>\n<h3>Riconoscimento 3D con un nuovo metodo<\/h3>\n<p>Il sistema goROBOT3D utilizza un metodo di nuova concezione in cui la superficie della scena di misurazione viene riscaldata con un modello strutturato di punti termici. Due termocamere registrano questo modello e calcolano i dati 3D utilizzando la correlazione spaziale incrociata. Invece del metodo precedente, in cui era necessario registrare diverse coppie di immagini, ora \u00e8 sufficiente una sola coppia di immagini per ricostruire i dati 3D in pochi millisecondi.<\/p>\n<p>I dati 3D ottenuti vengono analizzati dall'intelligenza artificiale per determinare i punti e le direzioni di presa adatti. Queste informazioni vengono trasmesse a un braccio robotico, che afferra l'oggetto utilizzando una pinza a vuoto. Questo processo, noto come \"bin-picking\", consente ai robot di afferrare oggetti da ambienti caotici.<\/p>\n<h3>Integrazione flessibile<\/h3>\n<p>La nuova tecnologia offre vantaggi significativi per i processi di produzione automatizzati, in quanto riduce drasticamente i tempi di ciclo e consente quindi una produzione continua senza interruzioni.
