Nell'anno finanziario 2018, la performance complessiva della Suva ha raggiunto il -2,7 per cento, che \u00e8 al di sotto della media del +4,8 per cento negli ultimi dieci anni. Mentre alcune delle azioni quotate hanno chiuso con perdite significative e gli investimenti obbligazionari sono stati anche leggermente in rosso, gli investimenti in private equity, immobili diretti, prestiti e anche quasi tutte le strategie di hedge fund hanno ottenuto risultati positivi. La situazione degli investimenti sul mercato monetario \u00e8 rimasta difficile a causa dei tassi d'interesse negativi in Svizzera e sono stati sostenuti elevati costi di copertura delle valute a causa del differenziale dei tassi d'interesse con le valute estere.<\/p>\n

Rapporto di copertura finanziaria del 134 per cento<\/h4>\n

L'attivo fisso della Suva \u00e8 sceso da 51,2 miliardi di franchi a 49,7 miliardi nell'esercizio 2018. Questi fondi sono destinati a scopi specifici: Essi coprono gli obblighi finanziari statutari della Suva, in particolare le circa 88.000 pensioni. Negli anni di investimento buoni, l'assicuratore contro gli infortuni accumula anche costantemente delle riserve di fluttuazione. Ci\u00f2 significa che le pensioni rimangono sicure anche in caso di crollo dei mercati finanziari. L'indice di copertura finanziaria \u00e8 sceso dal 143 per cento dell'anno precedente al 134 per cento alla fine del 2018, tenendo conto degli accantonamenti che si sono formati a causa del piacevole sviluppo del reddito degli investimenti negli ultimi anni e sono utilizzati per le riduzioni straordinarie dei premi.<\/p>\n

Confronto con i fondi pensione<\/h4>\n

La strategia d'investimento della Suva \u00e8 progettata per il lungo termine e un'ampia diversificazione. Una buona met\u00e0 del patrimonio \u00e8 investito in investimenti di interesse e credito, il 32% in azioni e private equity, circa il 13% in immobili e fondi immobiliari e la parte restante in altri investimenti alternativi. La strategia d'investimento \u00e8 molto simile a quella dei fondi pensione. In un confronto a lungo termine dal 1\u00b0 gennaio 2000, la Suva ha raggiunto una performance cumulativa dell'89,5%. Per l'indice LPP 25 (2000\/2005\/2015) la cifra era dell'80,3% e per l'indice delle casse pensioni CS del 67,0%. Per il 2018, la performance della Suva di -2,7% \u00e8 superiore all'indice LOB 25-2015 a -3,0% e all'indice CS-PK a -3,2%.
