Collana Health establishes new Workforce Management division
As part of a strategic partnership with HRM Systems, Collana Health AG is taking on five employees from the workforce scheduling division and establishing a new workforce management division at its Winterthur site. This complements Collana Health's offering with services relating to workforce scheduling and time recording.

With the new business unit, Collana Health AG is expanding its expertise in the Swiss healthcare sector to include an area that is becoming increasingly important in view of the shortage of specialist staff: efficient workforce scheduling. It is most beneficial where it interacts with other systems: «The combination of workforce management with our data-based clinical and administrative solutions enables our customers to deploy their resources in a more targeted manner - efficiently, in compliance with the law and with a focus on their employees,» explains Martin Straumann, CEO of Collana Health.
Collana Health's new business division combines consulting, implementation and operational services relating to workforce scheduling and time recording. This includes the optimization of processes, the introduction and further development of corresponding systems as well as support services. The five-strong team is headed by Nick Lang, who, as the former Managing Director of Urs Heer GmbH by HRM Systems, has over a decade of experience in the Swiss healthcare sector. «The new business unit combines our many years of experience in workforce scheduling with the consulting and system expertise of Collana Health. This creates an end-to-end offering for our customers - from conception to support in day-to-day operations,» says Nick Lang.
In future, joint customers of Collana Health and HRM Systems will benefit from a clear division of tasks: Collana Health will provide workforce management services, while HRM Systems will focus on the UKA Solutions, UKA Connect and Carema software products and associated services. «Thanks to the strategic partnership with Collana Health, our customers in the healthcare sector can continue to count on UKA and Carema being optimally integrated into their internal processes,» explains Patrick Dubach, member of the HRM Systems Executive Board.
The team of the new business unit includes former Polypoint application specialists, a former head of the nursing department, experienced HR and payroll specialists and management consultants with many years of experience in the healthcare sector. The business unit will remain independent of workforce management solution providers and will continue its existing partnership with Polypoint.
